| Sarrah Bates has completed her documentary film for the Benjamin Gilman International Scholarship follow-on project. While in Indonesia for her study abroad, she maintained a website blog (www.indotraveler.net) about her experience for her project. In addition to the website, she proposed to make a film about her experience in Indonesia, tips for students interested in studying abroad and promotion of the Gilman Scholarship. Let's join STAND Against Genocide for a free screening of the short documentary Crisis in the Congo on Thursday, October 27 at 7:00 in Bentley 140. The film explores the causes and context of the ongoing conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which is the deadliest war since WWII. The screening will be followed by a question and answer session with Dr. Sylvia Esser-Gleason, an OU alumnus and the founder of Project Congo.
