| Overview of Certificates Certificates in African (CTAFRI), Asian General (CTASIA), East Asian (CTEAST), European (CTEURO), Latin American CTLAMS), Southeast Asian (CTSEAS), and War and Peace Studies (CTWAPU) are available through the Center for International Studies for students who wish to add an international dimension to their major. The certificates are governed by a Faculty Advisory Boardand administered by the Assistant Director for Global Studies Programs, Center for International Studies. Requirements Requirements for the area studies certificates: two years of language study, an introductory course for the region, 5 courses from at least 3 departments (no more than one language course), and a minimum of 2.5 in certificate courses. Requirements for the War and Peace Studies Certificate: 3 Core War and Peace Courses, 4 War and Peace Thematic Option courses, and a minimum of 2.5 in certificate courses. |
